The Co-ordination for Gender Studies in Denmark is in charge of a number of tasks related to the initiation, internationalisation, and dissemination of gender research.
The Co-ordination for Gender Studies functions as an important exchange point between universities and national and transnational institutions and
organisations.
FREIA – Feminist Research Center, Aalborg University
FREIA – Feminist Research Center in Aalborg is an interdisciplinary research center at the Institute for History, International and Social Studies, Aalborg University. The approx. 10 researchers affiliated with FREIA cover the disciplines of sociology, political science, statistics, anthropology and history.

The Women's Museum
The Women’s Museum in Denmark is a state recognized national specialist museum with the purpose of researching, building collections and presenting knowledge of women’s lives and work in Danish culture-history. The Women’s Museum received state recognition in 1991. Each year app. 42,000 guests from Denmark and other countries visit the museum.
